These Terms apply to the Plannater Windows application and the public Plannater website. Plannater is a free, local-first production and business workspace. Optional connected features are used only when the user chooses to enable them.
1. Using Plannater
By using Plannater or the public website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
2. What Plannater provides
Plannater provides Windows desktop tools for planning and managing farm/production work, schedules, batches, inventory, purchasing, products, customers, orders, labels, deliveries, accounting records, documents, backups, imports, exports, diagnostics, and related workflows. Core app records are designed to remain local to the user's PC.
Optional features such as Google Calendar sync and local helper tools are not required for core app use and are enabled by the user.
3. User responsibility
Users are responsible for the accuracy of their records, backups, exports, account access, device security, legal compliance, food-safety decisions, accounting decisions, tax decisions, and business decisions.
Plannater is a software tool, not legal, accounting, tax, food-safety, certification, medical, or emergency advice. Users remain responsible for decisions made using information stored or displayed in the app.
4. Google Calendar and other third-party services
Google Calendar sync is optional and requires the user to grant Google OAuth permissions. Use of Google services is also governed by Google's applicable terms and policies. Other third-party operating-system services, hosting providers, printers, local helper software, or tools chosen by the user may have their own terms and privacy practices.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Plannater or the website to violate the law, attack or interfere with systems, distribute malware, abuse Google APIs or other services, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, misrepresent identity, or bypass security controls.
6. Local data and backups
Users remain responsible for local records and exported files. Make appropriate backups before imports, restores, bulk changes, system changes, or device changes. A backup stored on the same device is not a substitute for an independent backup.
7. Availability, updates, and changes
Plannater is provided as a free application and public information site. Features, interfaces, integrations, documentation, and public files may change, be delayed, or be removed. Compatibility with every Windows configuration, third-party service, printer, or local helper is not guaranteed.
8. Open-source and third-party licenses
Where Plannater source code or included components are distributed under an open-source or third-party license, that license controls the rights granted for those licensed materials. These Terms do not remove rights granted by an applicable software license.
9. No warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plannater and the website are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, or error-free operation.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forest Floored and the Plannater developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost crops, lost revenue, business interruption, or the cost of substitute services arising from use of or inability to use Plannater.
11. Stopping use
You may stop using Plannater at any time. You can disconnect Google Calendar in the app and revoke Plannater from your Google Account permissions. Local app records and exported files remain under your control and can be deleted as described on the Data deletion page.
12. Privacy
Plannater's data practices are described in the Privacy Policy.
